The book Merletti a Punto Antico [Punto Antico Laces] is not dated and there is no indication of the author. According to the expert curator of Aemilia Ars Bianca Rosa Bellomo, the book, printed between the 1920s and 1930s, has many points in common with a 1909 libretto written by Cleofe Mingarelli Ricci and this suggests that the author may be the same person.
