Description
Libro di Lavorieri will make many people happy, as it is a faithful facsimile reprint of a rare pattern book from 1591. Many of the plates inspired Aemilia Ars needle lacemaking. Only three copies of original manuscripts are known to exist and the most complete one has been reproduced in this volume. An historic introduction by Bianca Rosa Bellomo integrates the book. The text is both in Italian and English, translated by Jeanine Robertson.
